I drive past a place called Shillito Woods quite regularly and never having actually visited there, my curiosity got the better of me. I took all my lenses as I wasn't to sure what to expect. There where Plenty of small birds to watch and listen to and some interesting tree formations. This gave me a great opportunity to compare my 18-55mm lens and 50mm/f1.8. It's fair to say on sharpness, the 50mm came out on top by quite a large degree. The 18-55 is still a great wide angle lens until I can afford something a little higher quality, You can really tell on some of the shots I got which image quality wise is the better lens though.
